At the heart of any rally driver's success is a good, solid team behind him or her. Kevin Davies is no exception. Having teamed up with renowned preparation experts Geoff Jones Motorsport, the team has gone from strength to strength in this, its first year together.

Geoff Jones Motorsport is based in the small village of Cemmaes Road near Machynlleth. Under the guidance of former Nissan, Proton and Prodrive ace Geoff Jones, the team has rapidly expanded to be one of the UK's acknowledged leaders in rally car preparation.

Having been synonymous with the Nissan Micra, Jones has kept the Nissan link to the fore and developed his own Nissan Micra Kit Car for the 1400cc class. Davies has used the car to its full potential this season, giving both the car and team a well deserved title triumph.

Co-driver - Shaun O'Gorman.

Kevin started his career with co-driver Emyr Jones. The pair enjoyed much success together, but towards the end of 2006 Emyr stepped down from the role for family reasons. Now Kevin has joined forces with one of the very best rally co-drivers currently competing within the UK. Former works Peugeot co-driver Shaun O'Gorman joins Kevin from his base in Newtown in Mid Wales. The ever popular Welshman has sat with some of the very best rally drivers within the UK, and has a wealth of experience. Kevin is already benefitting from having such an experienced and professional standard co-driver alongside him. When not rallying, Shaun runs a fabrication business in Mid Wales - apparently!
